Vidyashram e-Shikha is a staff-records app for schools in West Bengal, India: leave register, digital service book and pay slips. A school's office (Head Master / clerk) creates and maintains the records; staff members sign in to view their own.
We do not collect location, contacts, advertising identifiers or any data from the device beyond what is typed into the app. There are no ads and no third-party analytics.
Data is used solely to maintain the school's own statutory records and to show each staff member their own information. It is visible only to the staff member it belongs to and their school's authorised office. It is never sold or shared with third parties. Documents the office exports (registers, pay slips) leave the app only when the office chooses to print or share them.
Data is stored on Supabase (hosted database, ap-south-1 region, encrypted in transit and at rest). Access is enforced per school by row-level security; sign-in is by mobile number and password.
Records are retained while the school uses the service, as service books are permanent statutory records. A staff member may ask their school office, or a school may ask us, to correct or delete data: [email protected]. Account deletion requests are honoured within 30 days.
Vidyashram e-Shikha is for school staff and is not directed at children.
